The Staff Association invites you to two meetings

We would like to remind you that those who wish to attend Staff Council meetings as observers are most welcome.

The CAPA, or the Individual Cases Commission (Commission des Cas Particuliers), is responsible for assisting members of the Staff Association in their disputes with the Organization or when they ask themselves questions about their present and future situation within the Organization.

CERN Croquet Club

The lawns are ready and the season has started, so come along to an Open House at the Club on Sunday 31 May as of 14:00, to see what we have to offer.

We offer non-contact sports open to ALL Ages, Genders and Abilities. All equipment is provided and instruction offered, but please wear flat-soled shoes.

While Croquet and Lawn Bowls are typically British sports, Gateball comes from Japan, although based on the rules of croquet it is played as a team sport. 

Afternoon Tea will be offered.

Following our last article on Family leave policies in International Organizations, we were able to update the timeline of the maternity, paternity and parental leave policies at CERN.

This year, the OGA will be held on Monday June 29, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., in the Council Chamber- 503/1-001 CERN exclusively in person.

In November 2025, twelve members of the association Au Cœur de Nos Rêves spent one month in northern Togo, working with four rural schools in the Kara region
